Abraham’s Seed Becomes a Nation
The patriarchs, Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, knew God as the God of Promises. Just over 400 years later Israel was reintroduced to the God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob Who would now fulfill those promises (Ex 2:15; 6:2-7). The seed of Abraham, Israel, had grown large in number over those intervening years and now God would lead that nation out of slavery in Egypt to the promised land (Gen 15:13).
